Brooke

Shooting models whether they’re girls, guys, kids or couples is where my photography wheelhouse lies. This is where creativity thrives for be because there are no time constraints, and the client and I are always on the same page, working together to create images that reflect a vision. For a while, I had a vision of portraiture in the water with a moody feel. Something about this type of shoot makes me feel the way I would about other types of art that moves me.

This session is the first in a two series project of shooting models in the water. Brooke was absolutely amazing. Not only was she willing to do whatever was asked of her, she was visually perfect for the vibe of the shoot. Whether we were going for a serious, moody look or a more dramatic look, Brooke nailed them all. Click through the gallery, enjoy and stand by for series two of this shoot that we were lucky to have Morgan on board for!

For the gear heads out there, this was shot on a Canon EOS 5D MK IV with Canon 70-200 2.8 ii. We lit the shoot with a Godox AD600 in a 37” quick parabox. Thank you to Brooke for being a willing but also, perfect model for this shoot and to Ethan, my son, for braving the water as well to help with lighting.
